Our Story

We began developing an enthusiasm for wine back in 2006 after touring Yakima Valley wine country while on a Porsche Club tour. A year later, we visited the Walla Walla Valley for the first time and soon began dreaming of leaving the fast paced city life of Western Washington for small town living to pursue our new found passion. After much prayer followed by many open doors, we felt the hand of God leading us out of our comfort zone for new beginnings.

Four years later in 2011 found us living in Walla Walla with Chuck enrolled in the wine program at Walla Walla CC while Pam continued her career as a physical therapist working with special needs children.

In 2013, upon Chuck’s completion of school, we purchased 2 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rocks District of Milton Freewater, Oregon and the fun (and real work) began. Now 2 ½ years later we are excited to release our very first vintage, which will be making its official debut on Spring Release weekend in May.

Our vision is to give back to the community and those in need by using the majority of the proceeds from Tricycle Cellars to support short term mission work. We are currently involved with a local grassroots nonprofit organization called Embracing Orphans which is working voluntarily to offer help to the orphaned, abused, and neglected children of Jamaica.

We hope that you love our wine and can feel the passion behind it and our story.
